Pulled muscle in my upper arm. Should i wrap it with a tensor bandage to add some support and/or a little pressure, and should I ice or heat it?

In brief: Timing is important

If your injury is within 48 hrs, ice & bandage it -- do not heat, to minimize swelling/injury.
After 48 hrs, it doesn't matter, but heat would be preferable after 48 hrs to improve blood flow to area, help healing. Compression with a bandage is not needed unless there is swelling to be prevented.
