In general all surgery has some risks.
The risk from the anesthesia ( severe allergy, hypotension, respiratory or cardiac arrest) the risk during surgery of bleeding, perforarion of viscera, leaving instruments, gauze or towels inside, the risk after the surgery with infections, the risk of clots, the risk of not achieving the desired goal, the risk of scars internally (adhesions) or externally.
