Unfortunately, rotator cuff healing depends on many factors influencing success including the size of the tear, health & age of the patient, & appropriate rest followed by therapy. It can take a year to fully recover. If you're concerned about re-tear, talk to your surgeon about a followup MRI arthrogram.
