Unopposed estrogen stimulation of the endometrium can also lead to endometrial cancer. If you are not having regular monthly menses and are not menopausal - you should see your gynecologist for evaluation and management to prevent serious disease.

Also if it is secondary amenorrhea meaning your periods were there then stopped, you could be pregnant or have some other cause other than menopause
