Tropheryma whippeli is a bacteria which causes Whipple's Disease. It is not always confined to the GI tract but can produce infection in virtually all areas of the body. It should be treated.

Untreated, it WILL kill you. Beforehand, it is likely to spread to your brain. That's bad. Please get treated.
