Budesonide inhalation suspension 0.5 mg or albuterol sulfate 2.5mg. I have chronic bronchitis and I have both of these for my "at home" breathing treatments. Which would help most?

Depends. The two meds you list are very different and intended for different purposes. Budesonide (pulmicort) is a steroid to reduce inflammation where as albuterol is a smooth muscle relaxer designed to reduce bronchospasm of the smaller airways surrounded by smooth muscle fibers. Albuterol's effect is very brief and temporary. Budesonide use provides sustained beneficial effects to prevent flare up.
