How do you know if you have to go to the doctors after a bee sting after 6 hours has passed. Foot is swelling, itching and painful?

In brief: Try

Taking otc antihistamine like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and if still swollen see your doctor. Sounds like allergic reaction.

In brief: Appointment

Making an appointment is appropriate, even though this may seem minor, it's best to get it checked out incase the bee sting gets worse or you may have a toxic reaction.
I'd recommend using cold compresses to your foot with Benadryl (diphenhydramine) (as previously posted). Corticosteroid cream may help reduce swelling even more. Hope this is helpful.
