In brief: Yes

In general, not taking medications that were prescribed to you in the way they were prescribed is not healthy.
Sometimes this will not make you feel bad (cholesterol medicine, eg), but other times like with levothyroxine (synthroid), this will leave you hypothyroid, which can make you feel tired, constipated, cold, depressed, etc. This is irrespective of whether you were compliant with amio or not.

In brief: Important

Amiodarone can cause thyroid dysfunction; in your case low thyroid.
If not treated properly it results in low metabolism, lethargy, weight gain, constipation, leg swelling, skin coarseness, hair thinning, low heart rate, weakness of heart pump, fluid around the heart and in severe cases coma. Please take your medication regularly and have blood tests to make sure it is the right dose.
