Ok to use neti pot w sinus infection?  i tried but it burned and water didn't come out other nostril, is that ok?

But use the neti pot (or neilmed bottle) properly.
Saline sinus rinsing can be very effective for sinus irritation / congestion. Water must be clean, warm, and made "salty" by use of the pre-packaged buffered salt provided with your pot or squeeze bottle. Fresh water will be very irritating!

No. It is important to use the provided buffered salt packets. Also, it's best to use distilled water to make sure that you don't pick up bugs from the tapwater. Your stomach can kill them but they can reak havoc in your sonuses.
