I took my 8mo old to the dr today about diarrhea and she had a temp of 100.2 they said was ok. Now it is 100.9. Is this still ok? When is it too high?

In brief: Don't sweat a fever

Fever is your child's natural way of slowing an infection.
Officially a temperature over 100.6 in a child is considered a fever. We do not worry about fevers until they are very high (over 104). In fact it is not recommended to treat a fever unless it is marking the child uncomfortable.
