I have white clumpy discharge but no itching. Could this be a yeast infection even if no itching?

Could be. There are exceptions to almost everything and not everyone presents "classically." however, it might not be yeast either. Perhaps it is a bacterial infection like BV or a protozoa like trichomoniasis. I think it would be wise to schedule an exam with your doctor so that you can be properly diagnosed and treated.

Goodnight if you had unprotected intercourse and one week later you contract an infection that itches, but no discharge could it be an yeast infection?

Yes, and maybe more- See your doctor to have the appropriate tests done - though certain sexually transmitted infections(sti's) can present with discharge( eg. Gonorrhea, chlamydia), one can still "atypically" present with these two sti's. With unprotected sex, one must also consider other infections such as herpes ( hsv-2 especially), hiv, and syphilis depending on the discussion you will have with your doctor. Read more...

I am not sure if I have yeast infection in vagina. It does not hurt but itches. I have never had sex. However my vaginal discharge is not usual?

Vaginal yeast. You do not need to be sexually active to have a vaginal yeast infection. It can occur after taking antibiotics, or from other things that alter the normal vaginal flora. As well, your symptoms may be something else, though nothing serious! You can certainly try an over the counter preparation for this, but , if symptoms persist, you should see your provider. The outer part of my vagina itches on one side and in vulva. I took yeast infection medicine but no help. There's no odor/discharge or bumps. Help?

May not be yeast. There are other vaginal infections or non-infectious conditions that can cause itching. Also, yeast can sometimes be resistant to the traditional medicines. You should probably consult with your gynecologist and have additional testing done. Read more...
