Is it possible for a tooth abscess to make you feel dizzy. My dentist told me i need a root canal due a deep cavity although it was filled.

In brief: Possible

A tooth infection can effects your whole body.
If you have had this infection for a long time than it may effect your immune system and a range of different symptoms. See a dentist as soon as you can.

In brief: Anything is

Possible. Im assuming if there is an abscess that your dentist has instructed you on the treatment options / medications etc.
.. The reason for a root canal in a filled tooth can be that the filling is just too close to the nerve and the nerve space is violated causing discomfort, pain, swelling, etc. The need for root canals in teeth with very large, deep fillings is fairly common. Hope this h.
