In brief: Can effect teeth

Xanax (alprazolam) can cause dry mouth and this can effect your teeth.
Salavia protects your teeth by maintaining ph as neutral as it can. It will remove bacteria and their toxic products. So without adequate saliva your teeth are at much greater risk of decay and erosion. Your dentist can help you with strategies to decrease damage to your teeth.

In brief: Xanax (alprazolam)

Don't see enamel damage listed as se for xanax (alprazolam).
However, it can cause dry mouth & vomiting. Vomiting can directly damage your enamel. Dry mouth from decreased saliva can lead to ^ tooth decay. Please see your dentist if your enamel is in poor shape. Another option & possibly a better one is to talk to your doctor about going off xanax (alprazolam). Chronic benzodiazapine use is not recommended.
