My son was just diagnosed with aspergers syndrome, is there one specific source I should look or read for the best advice?
Asperger's syndrome. Here are a couple excellent sources of info on asperger's, an autism spectrum disorder: http://www.Ninds.Nih.Gov/disorders/asperger/detail_asperger.Htm http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/aspergers-syndrome/ds00551 the following source even includes games for brain training children with asperger's: http://www.Aspergers.Com/.
Your doctor. Asperger's is a chronic developmental problem with many ups and downs. It's best to have a close relationship with your child's pediatrician or neurodevelopmentalist for the long haul. Much to anticipate, plan for, and problem solve over the years. Such as academic placement, socialization, extracurricular activities, clubs school intervention & career planning.
