My husband has a bulding disc in his vertabrea. What would be the best process of healing. And would vitamin d be of any help?

In brief: Medical evaluation

A bulging disc, which in your case must have been medically evaluated to get this diagnosis, can cause local pain and muscle dysfunction or pain in the area of the nerves from this area.
Your doctor will recommend medication, physical therapy, cold applications and other measures for relief. Vitamin d will make no difference. Continue under your doctors direction.

Bulging disc may or may not cause significant symptoms. Symptoms may include pain in the back which can radiate down the leg (sciatica). Treating the pain with analgesics, anti-inflammatories, and perhaps a muscle relaxant will help initial problem. Steroids can also help. After acute phase, it would help to build core muscles with exercise to help support spine.
