Only for protection. Shoes protect the feet in toddlers from cuts, scrapes, etc. They do not help shape feet or aid in walking. My kids were particularly fond of light up shoes.
Let me explain. Before your baby starts walking, she or he doesn't need shoes. In fact, supportive shoes like hard-soled mary janes may actually impede her developing mobility. Socks, booties, and soft-soled baby shoes are useful for warmth, but bare feet are fine, too. The only time need ? Are corrective shoes, I do not thing you asking about, them.Did i help.Thank you.
