In brief: Yes
Yes- usually this is fine.
Plenty of babies have a favorite breast to feed off of. But let baby be your guide - are they pooping and peeing well? Are they gaining the correct amount of weight? These are answers your doctor can work with you on.

In brief: Yes
Many babies do better on one side than on the other, or one breast produces more milk than the other. If you want to be able to produce milk from both breasts, though, you should pump the side you are not feeding on.
And, of course, if you do nothing on one side, milk production will cease on that side and you will be a bit lop-sided until you wean.
