My 8 mo.Th old got a sandspur in his mouth. I got it out and he seems ok but should I worry or flush his mouth in case he scraped it?

In brief: Don't worry
If he seems ok he is probably ok.
As long as he is not drooling and is able to drink he should be fine. Cuts in the mouth heal well.

Minor scratches/scrapes in the oral cavity typically heal quite well.
If shows any signs of dicomfort/pain..I.E. Crying when trying to eat/drink etc..Have himeen a doc to examine his mouth. If he is perfectly ok, i would not worry...
