Are baked beans and bread good types of proteins and carbs for bodybuilding?

In brief: It's all good

If your proteins are from vegetable sources, mix them for an optimal balance of amino acids, or eat plenty.
I'm very glad you're lifting. There's a lot of confusing talk out there; the key is plenty of protein without a great amount in the way of calories; don't forget aerobic fitness as well.

Bread-not good. Legumes-great. Wheat was first culivated 2000 BC. Humans had no "bread", but for the last 4000 yrs, Great to prevent starvation. But also great for obesity!
