Have yeast infection. Used gynazole cream 1. Only been 24 hours, little relief. Dr will prescribe terazol (terconazole) or difulcan next- how resistant is difulcan to yeast infections- dr doesn't like that med?

It can work well. In cases where creams are not effective, one dose of Diflucan (fluconazole) can be quite helpful. Yes there are some reports of increasing resistance to diflucan, (fluconazole) so it is worthwhile to try the creams for a bit longer (or even switching creams) before moving on to this med.
