How can ginger make you feel better?

Anti nausea, inflamm. Ginger is a rhizome, not a root; contins chemicals that are anti inflammatory (modestly), and can decrease nausea, flatulence. Can cause heartburn, bleeding risk with certain meds, e.g. Blood thinners, or before surgery (not chinese or indian food, but high dose supplements). Helpful as dried ginger, ginger candy, ginger ale or beer, ginger tea, cooked.
Anti-Inflammatory. There are some natural anti-inflammatory properties in ginger -- and garlic!
