If you have recurrent laryngeal nerve injury, how important is it to avoid exposure to cold/cough? When are colds typically no longer contageous?

In brief: Doubt related
In general is not good to have a cold but i don't thing your recurrent laryngeal nerve has anything to do with it.
If you have a cold you coul be contagious while still coughing usually until symptoms disappear.
