In brief: Pregnant

Most pregnancy tests become positive between 2 and 4 weeks after conception, about the time you miss a period, to a few weeks after. You may want to wait and see if your period starts late, and save your money.
But if you are two weeks late or longer, it may be better to test for pregnancy. If not pregnant you may want to check with your physician why your periods have changed.
