Yes you can. Cancer of the spine can involve the spinal cord or the vertebrae surrounding it. It can be due to a primary tumor or spread from a cancer elsewhere in the body. Common symptoms include pain, numbness, muscle weakness and difficulty walking. Pain is the most common symptom and often wakes the patient from sleep.
