In brief: Scar fade...
And other silicone products are easy and may help.
Scars are scars, caused by MRSA or anything else. If there is severe scarring you should see a facial plastic surgeon to discuss things. Other treatment options may exist.

In brief: Multiple Options
Scars become very dark when exposed to daylight, so use sunblock liberally and daily even on cloudy or rainy days.
Using silicone gel sheeting (simply placing a sheet over the scar) as many hours per day for at least three months (longer is better) will improve the appearance of scars also.

In brief: Massage +/- revision
Like all scars, begin with several months of massage with cocoa butter or mederma.
Protect them from the sun with SPF 30 sunscreen. Once all the red is gone, if they still need more, see a plastic surgeon about surgical improvement. Make sure your nose and under your nails have been treated with Bactroban (mupirocin) Ointment to prevent recurrence of the mrsa!

In brief: Wound care
Treating active infection is key to minimize damage followed by meticulous wound hygiene in a clean yet moist environment to promote rapid epithelialization with minimal inflammation is essential.
Subsequent scar management will vary on the extent and depth of the scars.

In brief: Laser
Once infection is gone the area can be lasered with fractional CO2 or erbium. Healing is within 4 days with erbium and can be repeated in a few monrths if desired for additional improvement.
See dermatologist experienced in the use of fractionated laser treatment.
