Right hip hurts?

More details needed. Too vague a question, but have your physician do an exam, perhaps an x-ray and most importantly make sure it actually is the hip where the pain is coming from.

Where? If it is the side of your hip, you may be having greater trochanter syndrome or if in the back of the hip (toward buttocks), possibly piriformis syndrome. Could (more unlikely) be hip arthritis. Also could be another muscle or tendon involved. Read more...

Hip pain. Activity related pain can be from many causes. Specific to the hip, an x-ray would look for degenerative arthritis or other joint abnormalities (avascular necrosis, slipped capital epiphysis, etc).
