Do I have to bring someone along, or can I drive after the coronary angioplasty?

PTCA/PCI. Bring someone along to drive you home.
Bring someone. You may spend the night after the procedure. In addition, you will be given mild sedatives which may impair your ability to drive for 24 hours. Lastly, you may have some groin or wrist discomfort after the procedure (depending on the site of access) that may make driving difficult.
