Sciatica is inflammation of the sciatic nerve, which causes pai through the buttocks, and down the leg.
Inflammation can be treated with ibuprofen, naproxen, and aspirin.. Heat or ice, restrict bending and lifting, and reducing pressure on the painful side. If these don't help, your sciatica may need further testing and treatment by your by you physician.
