Alcoholism adversely affects every organ in the body except the kidneys. It also affects families, relationships and employment. If one can't control their drinking, there is help out there. Good luck to you.

Fortunately, there are many 12-step groups like aa out there to help. Physicians trained in addiction medicine can help, as well as your primary doctor. Asking this question is a good start, and i wish you the best for a healthy life.
