In brief: Temperature

Body temperature depends on multiple factors -- the person, your age, what you've been doing, time of day, where you're measuring (under tongue, armpit, rectally, etc).
Normal body temperature varies between 97 to 99 degrees f -- so without knowing about the factors mentioned above, i'm guessing your 99.1 degrees is probably normal.

In brief: Yes...

That temperature is certainly in the normal range.
The "normal" 98.6f temperature is a massive conglomerate average. Don't sweat it. Good luck.

In brief: Yes

Although "normal" body temperature is supposed to be 98.
6 a difference of a half a degree or even more is not worrisome. Your body temperature will vary depending on time of day and activity level as well as things that might affect your metabolic rate like thyroid function. Some people tend to run a litttle higher or lower than average and that's normal too.
