What are treatments for a person who has spinal stenosis near l5, l4. My dr. Gave me a steroid injection. What else can be done?

Spinal Stenosis. 60% of patients respond to physical therapy, specifically traction. 30% respond to meds, including oral and injected steroids. 10% require surgery when pain is intractable and failed to respond to the other treatments.
See below. The other options are chronic pain medications, physical therapy, tens units, and ultimately surgery. Hope that helps.
