In brief: Sometimes

If endometrial cancer is diagnosed in its early stages, it can be cured with a hysterectomy.
Sometimes radiation or chemotherapy will be added after a hysterectomy. If at the time of hysterectomy there is no disease outside of the uterus, long term cure is possible. If there is disease outside of the uterus at the time of diagnosis, long term cure is rare.
