Comprehensive. There is no quick fix. The best treatment programs are comprehensive. Diet modification, appropriate medications and or supplements, regular exercise, stress relaxation techniques, counseling and cbt. Have all been found to help. Additional treatments options which can also be helpful include acupuncture, meditation, yoga, massage, chiropractic treatments, physical therapy, and water therapy.

Fibromyalgia . As a functional medicine doctor, I recommend you see a functional medicine doctor like me who works a lot with fibromyalgia patients. There are many factors that can influence your pain and other symptoms. You deserve the time and attention you would get from someone who will spend a lot of time with you, and who is well trained. .
Remain active. There are several excellent medications that help my fibro patients often. Mostimportantly...Stay active. It is ok to push yourself a bit.
