Do doctors see a lot of patients with molar pregnancy?

In brief: Not a lot

Molar pregnancies are not real common, occurring in less than 1 in 1000 pregnancies in the USA.
But, they are certainly serious when they do occur. Usual treatment is a D&C, and follow-up after treatment for a molar pregnancy is quite important - as sometimes the molar pregnancy can recur after treatment.
