Not if adult tooth. Most adults only have one of each tooth, so you cannot lose the same tooth twice.
Yes. A primary (baby) tooth and the subsequent secondary (permanent) tooth can both be lost, and both would occupy the same space (spot). In addition, if a first molar is extracted at a young age, and the second molar drifts into the space and then is extracted, that would qualify.
