My 5 month old son has been throwing up since last night. What can I do? How much pedialyte should I give him?

In brief: Depends
If baby is still wetting diapers every 6hrs he is holding on to enough to try home care.
Start withbreast milk or electrolyte solution in small amts every 10 minutes (1/2-1oz) either by bottle or a tablespoon. After a while with no barfing you can up the volume and decrease the frequency. If baby is not taking well, too sleepy or you get a bad vibe, contact your dr & discuss timing for an evaluation.

In brief: Start slow
Start with an ounce or two at a time.
If he cannot keep that down, see your doctor.
