In brief: Depends on cause

In some cases you may be able to go about with a mild toothache, including going to work.
However, it is important to determine the cause of the ache to avoid complications of infection.

In brief: Please See a Dentist

No... Skip work and get a note from your dentist saying that you were in for dental treatment.
Best to do see a dentist before the pain turns into something more involved. At the start of pain you have more options than if you wait and see. Most times it will become far more involved, expensive and time consuming, not to mention painful. A dentist can help you!

In brief: Depends

Depends on how bad the pain is and if it would make work difficult.
Take OTC meds and see dentist ASAP for treatment.
