Bone on roof of mouth swollen and painful. What do I do?

See dentist. Do you have a bump in the roof of your mouth? This may be normal. A lot of people have a 'torus' or bump of bone that they've had forever, but one day it gets injured or bruised and painful and then it draws their attention to it. If this hasn't gone away in 10 days, please see someone.
Torus. This is called a torus palatinus which is a common bony growth on the palate. Which can enlarge over time. If too large it often is easily irritated. You might need to have it removed.
