Will I have to get poked with a needle when I get a cystometrogram?

In brief: No

Cmg is relatively painless.
The biggest issue with the testing is that it is a little embarrassing because you do have to be undressed from the waist down to do the testing. The EMG or nerve conduction portion of the test can usually be done without using needles unless you have some complicating factors. I try to use patch EMG whenever i can to minimize the needle use.
