In brief: Need more detail
There are many causes of pelvic pain, from skin, muscle, and bone/joint problems, to gastrointestinal or reproductive/urinary issues.
A full history and physical examination by an experienced physician is usually very helpful.

In brief: Yes
All pain medications can potentially help the pain.
Tylenol, (acetaminophen) Motrin and Aleve can all help. Frequently, however, the pain is not fully relieved with these over the counter options. Hot pads and soaking in warm to hot water can also help as can acupuncture, for example.

Pain Management
In brief: Limit time for OTCs
Otcs are just fine for any mild ailment, but if the symptoms continue, you must seek medical attention to find underlying cause of the symptoms.
Any pain that lasts for a while is usually from something going on that needs to be looked at. If the otcs don't help knock it out quickly, go to your doc/gyne.
