Yes. The Monistat ovule is designed for treatment of vaginal yeast infections. It should dissolve and treat the surface skin within the vagina.
Hi, I really appreciate your help first of all and here'a my question does the use of Monistat 1 (tioconazole) (the ovule insertion) interfere with planb one dose?
No problem. Efficacy of Plan B should not be affected by monistat.
Nothing serious. May not be completely effective.
Earlier Today I used Monistat 1 (tioconazole) Ovule to treat a yeast infection, I have light pink pasty discharge now. Is this normal?
Yes it is. It is normal as the monistst dissolves and there may be some mild trauma to the vaginal wall.
Yeast infection. It takes awhile for yeast infection to clear after treatment.
I just used Monistat 1, (tioconazole) placed the ovule in about 9am. I went to the bathroom 2 hrs later and some of it came out. Do I need to get another dose?
YES/NO. This is a problem with the Ovules, You may had noticed that it's recommend that you insert it before bed when you're laying down. Even then, it can plop out before completely dissolved if you use the bathroom. It takes 2-3 days for the symptoms to resolve. If you think you can wait, get another if you still have symptoms. I DO recommend inserting it before bed in any case. Best wishes!
Used Monistat 1 (tioconazole). Box was sealed, ovule pouch was seal but aplicator had no package just was inside the box. Should I worry or it shouldn't be packed?
Not sure what is. Normal packaging for that product. Ask the store where you bought it, or check to see if company has a phone number on the box that you could call and ask them what is normal pakaging. It could have been an innocent error in packaging at the factory.
I used Monistat 1 (tioconazole) day treatment (ovule). I've been experiencing a slight pink maybe orange discharge that is very dry, clumpy, and pasty. What is it?
Blood. It's probably a combination of a little blood and the medicine. Give it a few days to clear. It does not sound like anything serious.
