In brief: Pruritis

Pruritis ( itching) only while asleep is unusual; however, some possible causes would include bed bugs ( lice), or a contact dermatitis/ allergy.
If it is bed bugs , typically you would see some evidence of tiny red spots / bite marks on your skin. Some peolple are sensitive to the material in their sheets or bedding...Or the soap used to wash the bedding. Dry skin is other possible cause.
