What is better for yeast infection treatment, Monistat 1, (tioconazole) Monistat 3, or Monistat 7?

They all work. First there was Monistat 7, then 3 and now 1.Monistat 1 (tioconazole) is more convenient and works and is preferred by many.Single application treatment is preferable to 3 or 7 days treatment.

Yeast. You may need a prolonged course of an antifungal..not just pulse dosing. The over the counter preparations are hit and miss. Check with your PCP or GYN...they can start fluconazole at 100mg a day for say 7-10 days then re-evaluate. Doses can escalate from here.
