In brief: Vertigo

Eye movements and the inner ear are connected inside the brain.
Many of these connections originate in the brainstem. Thus, it makes sense that some vertigo is associated with abnormal eye movement. Check with your local ENT doctor and ophthalmologist soon for a complete examination.

In brief: Vertigo

Other than bppv, causes to consider are meniere's disease (associated with hearing loss and ringing in the ear), multiple sclerosis (there should be other episodic symptoms in addition to the vertigo), vascular insufficiency (mostly just in older persons), aneurysm, tumor around the auditory nerve, certain drugs, or toxins like alcohol.
