In brief: Like anaphylaxis
Same as anaphylaxis but not due to allergy.
Same symptoms such as hives, shortness of breath, wheeze, low blood pressure, loss of consciousness and possibly death.

Anaphylactoid reactions are like anaphylaxis, that Dr. Hadied described, but do not require antibodies and happen when something directly activates certain cells in the immune system, and causes them to do the things that occur in anaphylaxis. The resulting symptoms are similar.
