In brief: Local reaction
Generally a centipede bite causes local pain, swelling, redness and should be treated with cold compresses, antihistamines, rarely steroids.
I found one case in 2004 of a serious allergic reaction to a centipede sting in thailand, but this is so rare it is reportable.

centipede bites in the United States are extremely rare. By the way, we had a foot & a half long centipede in our yard when we lived in Taiwan. The bigger the centipede the more venom it injects and the more toxic.
