Explain the condition called a cytomegalovirus (c.M.V.) brain infection.?

Cmv encephalitis. Cytomegelovirus (CMV) encephalitis in adults is uncommon. It usually is seen as part of a generalized CMV infection in immunocompromised patients.
Cytomegalovirus. Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a large DNA virus that infects many people over their lifetime with minimal negative effect beyond a milt "virus". If a woman has her infection during pregnancy, the fetus can abort, suffer brain or multisystem organ damage, or deafness. Once infected, a person becomes immune, but the disease may re-activate if a persons immunity is weak.
