addiction has specific features including: continued use despite obvious harm, use or procurement takes up a lot of time, avoiding situations where the drug is not available, missing obligations due to use, feeling bad when not using ie. withdrawal, tolerance ie needing more drug to get same effect. Marijuana does cause addiction with regular use.
