In brief: Size & location

It depends on the location, the size, and the rate of growth.
Recurring headaches which stay in one location are common but there are many other causes. New onset seizure, change in personality, partial loss of vision or symptoms of stroke are other typical presentations but none are specific. Ct or MRI can rule in/out a brain tumor reliably.

In brief: Too many to list

Brain tumors can be primary(arising in the brain) or metastatic from a tumor somewhere else in the body.
Brain tumors thus can be very different--as can the effects they produce based on where they are located in the brain.
