In brief: Breathing
Breathing exercise: concentrate on your breathing, conscientiously inhale deep and slow starting from abdomen to top of your lungs, hold it for a second or two and slowly exhale emptying lungs from chest to abdomen.
Repeat it until you feel your heart rate is slowing and you can control yourself.

In brief: Relax
Of course, when you are having a panic attack, relaxing is the last thing you thing of because you think you are dying - you are not.
A panic attack is a psychological way of avoiding an intrusive thought or feeling by diverting your attention - and it works ! as a longer term solution, seek psychotherapy to find out what is under the surface that is bothering you.
